Orion Strategic Solutions wins CNAL Bid

Orion Strategic Solutions, LLC, announces its recent achievement as the prime contractor for the Commander Naval Air Forces, Atlantic (CNAL) Support Equipment Technical Services contract.  

This milestone solidifies Orion's position as a reliable partner in providing critical management and technical expertise to government contracts. Under this contract, Orion will oversee the management and technical support for twenty-seven (27) Intermediate Maintenance Activities (IMAs), ten aircraft carriers, and nine L-Class ships, encompassing approximately 400 shore and sea-based activities and a fleet of 2,200 aircraft.  

Orion’s responsibilities extend beyond operational management to assisting in the development of Aviation Support Equipment (SE) logistics program policies and providing technical advice on policy interpretation and implementation. Additionally, the company will manage the SE Naval Aviation Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program, ensuring precision and accuracy in all calibration activities. Orion will review and make determinations of fleet equipment requirements and report conditions to support fleet readiness at sea and ashore worldwide. Furthermore, Orion Strategic Solutions, LLC will play a crucial role in coordinating with CVNs undergoing RCOH/PIA, facilitating the seamless offloading, accounting, storage, reinstallation, and verification of all AIMD test benches, SE, and IMRL.
